The kids came and Sam wanted to play out in the sande box awhile, building bridges and houses with wood scraps. He built a nice house for Carmen Gee-Ya (a tiny car he plays with) then came inside and wanted to paint. The entire day was swapping back and forth between babies, because Lilyanne really noticed that Sam "had me", and wanted to come in for her share. By the time Sam was ready for his nap, we read many books, and he dozed off as I read Robert Waller's High Plains Tango aloud to both of us--paraphrasing when necessary....
Ahhh.... sweatshirt weather. I figure with us going to the beach this weekend, it will turn cold and rainy down there. But you know, I won't even mind. I think I could sit and watch in rain awhile.
ReplyDeleteThe mornings here have been nice. Haven't felt much like sitting outside, but I'll get there.
