My Space

This may not look fixed up to you, but it IS to me! There is usable surface area, even though rolled and stashed stuff is visible. The weird dangly seat cover on the stool is a work in progress--a leather beaded dress back that was cannibalized for the full skirt years ago, and the top was too pretty to throw away. On a more suitable stool it would be trimmed down and attached by now, this is just " trying on", and sure enough, the beads don't feel when one is sitting on it, I just don't want to attach it to a fold-y up Wal-Mart stool the kids drag around too.
I have a sketch wetted down for a friend in Albuquerque, and a cowboy that needs some tweaking, Now I am able to walk by and do a little work and leave....come by later, etc.
Don spent a good part of the afternoon, no, all of it, come to think of it, doing some retouching on wrinkled pictures that classmates scrounged up for their class reunion last year. Don'cha just love Adobe? (Will he be ostracized because there wasn't a game going on in the background? Now you know just ONE of the reasons I love the guy.) He watches games occasionally, but has a life too!
Yesterday after the Farwell kids left, we worked in the yard the rest of the day. I spent today finding tiny little stickers I missed in all my efforts to get rid of nasty grasses that infiltrated the lawn, flowerbeds, even sidewalk cracks, and it isn't like I haven't done this devotedly all summer!
From here on I would be just babbling, and I promised not to do that, didn't I?
